Citizens’ dialogue on how Europe can contribute to fair jobs and growth

On 16 November, the European Commission will host a citizens’ dialogue in connection with the Social Summit for Fair Jobs and Growth.

Citizens are welcome to take part in the dialogue on how the European Union and the Member States can more effectively address societal problems and future challenges and opportunities in the EU.

European Commissioner for Trade Cecilia Malmström, European Commissioner for Employment, Social Affairs, Skills and Labour Mobility Marianne Thyssen, and Minister for Employment and Integration Ylva Johansson will take part in the citizens’ dialogue. They will share their views and respond to the questions during the one and a half hour session.

The dialogue take place at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and will be live-streamed on Facebook @EUkommissionen.
